The Pika Foundation is a small non-profit organization that offers children in Laos and Bhutan the opportunity to obtain an education.  You can find the stories of the children on the foundation's website, at www.pikafoundation.org .  

In 2018, the Foundation also constructed a building in Laos so that kids can move from the countryside to town to attend school and later find a job in the city.  The building project was coordinated by Vong, one of the older students who in the meantime graduated from university with an IT degree and who currently also runs the daily management of the residence.
